My name is James Moran and I am an author, artist, and professional archetypal astrologer.

I utilize archetypal astrology to help people like you make sense of what you've been through, understand the strengths that want to come from your challenges, and anticipate the themes and rhythm of growth ahead, all while helping you connect with the unity of all life.

At age 16 I had the good fortune of studying with the pioneering psychedelic researcher Dr. Stanislav Grof. Thus began an adventure of growth that led me to spend several years living India, and several decades steeped in the traditions of Vipassana meditation and Iyengar Yoga. In 2008 I encountered archetypal astrology. In 2009 I began studying archetypal astrology directly under its founder Richard Tarnas, and I realized that my entire life I had been searching for a language with which I could describe reality at its depth. Archetypal astrology is that language. I have been a professional archetypal astrologer since 2010, and have returned to the practice of psychedelic-assisted healing, this time utilizing archetypal astrology to illuminate the interior depths of the human experience.

Additionally I am an author and an artist who regularly publishes nonfiction, fiction, and poetry.
